BRITTEN'S FIFTH TITLE CREATES HISTORY

Kevin Britten, at the relatively tender age of 26, became an immortal in the sport of V8 Dirt Modified racing tonight at Valvoline Raceway Parramatta in annexing his fifth consecutive Australian title.

He is the first driver in the near thirty year history of the title to do so.

In the end it was far from easy for the defending champion as he narrowly led home Lismore's Mark Robinson in the dying stages of the 2020 Blackshaws Smash Repairs Championship A-Main.

Robinson shadowed Britten across the line with Victorian Brett Clarke in third place and Queenslander Dave Clark in fourth.

Blake Eveleigh was the first Sportsman driver home in 9th place overall.
